Australia vs. Canada the Movie Industry round

Canada seems to have some government subsidies for making movies, but Australia has worked its way into becoming a big Hollywood ‘farm club.”  In baseball a farm club is where the major teams park their best prospects so that they can practice their art and gain experience.  Australia is a farm club for developing talent for Hollywood.

Movies are a very subjective topic.

I’ve seen Mad Max, but there was one obscure Canadian movie, “Don’t Rock the Boat,” which was about the newspaper industry and I loved that movie.  It is a personal favorite.

Since each reader of this post has his or her own favorites, this week’s round will have to be a draw because of the subjective nature of the call.
